The Falcons recently held a camp at Tolmers...this is what they say....
The camp went really well, the weather was fantastic we could not have asked for better & when you see what it is like now & what it was like before we went it’s hard to believe that we had lovely sunny days.
It really would not have been the same without the good weather as we had booked all water activities & had a very young group this time – mainly eight year olds so did not want to put them off camping!
Kaa did kayaking & Shere Khan did pond dipping for the first time – We think that she enjoyed it just as much as the cubs! - & Akela did a nature walk.
It was great fun. Unfortunately Akela got an insect bite & went home Saturday night, her foot had swollen up badly & she had to see the doctor. But everyone else was ok. She came back the next day. Apart from this we all had a good time.
