Evening all

Badgers Bolognese...

...gets 10 out of 10 from the Cubs

And yes, everyone has had a shower ready for their evening of adventure

Who would have thought...

...that one of the best parts of camp is "Free time". Time to be yourself and engage in activities you enjoy, be it playing a game with Shere Khan, football, sitting in the shade, exploring the woods or anything else you fancy.

...that we would be on Sun lotion alert during this camp (please not ethere are many other fine brands available!)

Crounders

The great view from our tents, as the Cubs play Crounders.

First thing in the morning as the camp begins to stir. The leaders and the early birds begin to organise the camp ready for the day.

The Cubs got up bright and early and started the day as they mean to go on; lots of activities and planty of good food.

So far they have taken part in craft and football, tidied tents for inspection, and are now having cereal before Badger's bacon and Badger's beans

Sports Challenge with 3rd Hertford

Its that time of year and we have had our annual sports challenge with 3rd Hertford Beavers.
We have had a new venue this year and all met at Chauncy School, despite the grey skies and
constant drizzle all the beavers had a smashing time.
FOOTBALL
ROUNDERS
RELAY HOCKEY
BAGGING THE HOOPS
It was a closely contested battle with Hertford winning by one point
but Ware had the last word  by winning the tug of war
A big thank you to the parents for the great turnout of
beavers despite the change of night ,time  and location.

Support HELPING

HELPING is the charity through whom we are twinned with our Gambian Scout Group. Money from this event will not go to out particular twin, but will assist the charity in their general work in The Gambia, which may include our partner group and their village. It should be a good afternoon, leaders who have been to events in the past have always spoken highly of them.
