Falcon Pack at Oxley Shield

Last weekend all the Cub Packs of Ware & District were invited to attend the Oxley shield camping competition. There were lots of different bases to do and the evening meal to be cooked on an open fire in the evening, before taking part in a wide game, campfire and bed.

At the end of the main camping competition there is the Wildgoose handicraft competition where the Cubs have to make an object decided by the judges. This year is was a kite and the Falcon Pack one was declared the winner. When all the points for the main competition were added up, Falcon Pack were in second place and brought home the runners-up cup as well.
