Just to let you know not to expect tales of campfire ditties and skits from your Scout when they return home. As ever, the Leaders try to encourage the young people to take responsibility, to take on leadership roles and make decisions for themselves. Part of Scouting is to encourage the Scouts to follow and extend their interests as well as seeking out new adventures.
This evening the impromptu sports were enjoyed so much tonight that the Scouts and Guides did not want to stop and so the Leaders have accepted a challenge for a huge Scouts and Guides against Leaders football match followed by Frisbee and then maybe a film. They will sleep well tonight!
The campfire will still be there another day, or on another event.
