Before the carnival began today we had the chance to take the Group to watch the Olympic Flam pass through Ware.
We set up our benches and the Young people sat on them and sang their hearts out whist we waited, entertaining all those around us.
When the torch bearer arrived we were delighted that she came over to have her photo with the group and let the young people touch the torch, thank you.
It was a thrilling experience for them and hopefully something they will always remember. You can view this relay on the BBC. The Ware leg starts around 10.45
I thought the way you organised this and made sure the children got to see and touch the torch was brilliant. I was imprseed (but not surprised) that you kept them all occupied and busy in the wait with the singing and that they were so well behaved. A credit to 3rd Ware
