Chinese New Year

Happy New Year!

Last Monday was the first day of the Year of the Dragon and the Heron Cubs decided to celebrate.

After learning a little bit about New Year in the Chinese culture and discussing which animal represents the year they ware born in, the cubs grouped off into their sixes and created themselves a wheel encompassing each of the twelve animals of the zodiac.

The evening was rounded off by sampling some delicious Chinese food.
