Litter pick

As part of the World Challenge the Cubs did a litter pick along the river bank, and in the rough area past the school. They all commented on the cigarette ends, broken glass and bottle tops that they found.

Hopefully it will encourage them not to drop litter!

After we had picked up lots of litter we had chips as a reward!

Falcons summer camp

The Cubs arrived at Tolmers for summer camp, a weekend full of fun and activities, eating (and washing-up!)
They put their tents up (in the rain) before having a wide game, burgers, T-shirt decoration then getting ready for bed.

Saturday morning they had the first activity of climbing on the rope-a-phobia, shelter building, eating lunch in their shelters, free time before kayaking and the assault course.

Sunday morning they took their tents down then did archery for an hour before lunch, Cub's Own and presentation of lots of badges!

Camp prep

Falcon Pack are off to summer camp very soon so they spend a week getting everything ready!

District go karting competition

Last Saturday Falcon and Heron Cubs joined the rest of the District Cubs at Chauncy School to take part in the annual go-karting competition.
Both Packs tried hard and took part in all the races, with Heron Pack coming in fourth overall and Falcons eleventh.
A good afternoon was had by all and it didn't rain!
