Bowling evening

For the end of term evening, the Cubs chose to go bowling. They all had a good time and there were some great bowlers!

Bowling is thirsty work!

Walk for Wateraid

Falcon Pack have been learning about the work that Wateraid are doing with the Scouts in Madagascar. They did a sponsored walk along the river from Hertford back to the HQ in Ware. They each carried a litre of water so that they could understand a little of what it is like to have to carry all the water that you need each day.

We walked past the Gauge House which is where the New River takes water from the Lea every day to transport it to London. It still supplies 8% of the water needs of London every day!

Skills evening

Falcon Pack have been working towards the Skills Challenge badge. This week they learnt how to change a bulb and to polish their shoes

Added to the week we spent learning to iron our scarves and make scones we have learnt a lot of new skills!
