Lynx Troop evening bike ride

District Cub Fun Run

Tonight both Falcon and Heron Cubs attended the District Fun Run at Rigery Farm. Over 200 Cubs from Ware & District attended the event and ran round the course of over a mile. Well done to winning Pack Braughing Cheetah and well done to all of the Cubs that completed the course.

Bobcats sponsored bike ride

Bobcats took to the bridleways of East Herts on a sponsored bike rides raising funds for 3rd Ware's twin Scout Group in The Gambia.  Thanks to all those that cycled either 8, 12 or 16 miles to raise funds for this cause.

The Heron leaders would like to say a big thank you to all the Cubs who attend the District camp this weekend. You were so very well behaved and everyone was so happy and cheerful it was an absolute pleasure. Can't wait to do it again.

3rd Ware Scouts at Ware Skate Park

Last Friday Scouts from both Bobcats and Lynx troops met at Ware Skate Park and completed the requirements of the Street Sports badge. Bikes, skates, skateboards and scooters were all in evidence with only one crash during the evening! Thanks to Barney and the WASP committee for arranging the evening.
