On Tuesday, Falcon Pack went on a ghost walk led by John Wing. He dressed up for the occasion and we started at the HQ.
We first stopped on the corner of Broadmeads and he told us about the ghosts of two children who have been heard at Amwell House, now Ware College.
We walked on through the town and went into Bluecoat Yard where John told us about the children who lived there when it was the Bluecoat School.
We went on to the Tap Bar, a long time ago it was the Horseshoe Inn and the monks who lived in the Priory had a secret tunnel that led from the Priory to the inn, until one day it collapsed on them and four of them died!
We heard about quite a lot of the places that have ghost stories attached to them, it was really interesting and everyone enjoyed themselves even though it was so cold!
