Barney

 

  

 Our Scout Troops have started a book of condolences, which is now available in the front hallway of our Headquarters.  All are welcome to add your own comments or fond memories of Barney in it, or just read the wonderful memories that the Scouts and many others have written.

 

Our Headquarters is usually open every weekday evening, and it is currently planned to leave this book here until March 20th.

Details of Barney's funeral have now been announced - please speak to your leader for more information.

Scouts' Water Activity Weekend

The Scouts had a fantastic time last weekend at the ESSA water activity centre.

Easter Expedition to the Peak District

Well the Scouts are now back and rested, hopefully with excited tales of the Caving, Hiking and trip to Alton Towers - a great weekend.

We've arrived

All arrived OK at the farm.  Getting a briefing now about tomorrow.

Day 2 and we're off to CTT2014

An early start saw us eating our saussage, bacon and egg sandwiches, washing up, packing all our kit and leaving on the minibus by 7:30.  We were off to Come To Tolmers (CTT) to join hundreds of other Scouts and Guides from across the County and further afield.

We were in good time to register and get a good position at Flag Break to then sign up to a wide choice of activities.

Our Scouts selected Zip Line, Pedal Karts, Inflatable Assault Course, Human Table Football, Laser Tag, Rifles, Aeroball, Tunnels and Slippery Slope.
