Toys for Syria

Falcon Pack are currently working on the Global challenge so when an email request came through from County about sending toys to refugees in Syria, they decided that it would be a great idea to help out. Each Cub chose a toy that they no longer played with and brought it along to the Cub meeting; they put on a label with their name and some good wishes for the child who would receive it and added it to the pile of toys.
Peter Makewell who is the Assistant County Commissioner for International Activities came along to the meeting, explained a little about where the toys would go and how they would get there and thanked the Cubs for doing this special good turn.
